Love in its purest form. That’s Jen and John. Two kindred old souls that found each other
early in life and who love in a way that most in the modern world have
forgotten. All around were love quotes
and bouquets of wildflowers; it really felt as if we stepped onto the pages of
poem. Amber and I loved every minute of
it and couldn’t help but grow teary eyed as the emotion of the day swept over
us.
Their vows, written by their own hand, were some of the
sweetest and most beautiful I have ever witnessed. Their family and friends
were so loving and kind that I want to have them all over for dinner. Everywhere I looked were flowers and
flickering candlelight – it was the stuff of dreams for a hopeless romantic
like me!
But the thing that I love the most, more than anything else,
was that Amber and I faded away during their portraits – Jen and John were lost
in each others arms, bathed in the heavenly light of the late evening sun;
photographs of beautiful little moments that instantly became memory.
I am so incredibly thankful for the opportunity to
photograph these two and to be able to share in such a magical day.
Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life,
love gives us a fairly tale.
