The last kiss of the summer’s warm sun bathed the idyllic country landscape in soft golden light. Rustic farmhouses and old weathered barns were the backdrops against which love wrote her timeless story.The long and meandering drive led guests across covered bridges and babbling creeks to the ceremony beneath the shade of an old maple tree. The reception, held in a converted century barn, was the perfect mix of rustic simplicity and ageless romantic elegance. Every detail was perfect, right down to the handwritten board sharing their love story.And in the quiet of the night, as the sounds of laughter faded through the open doors to the darkening sky, they danced; alone and in love, under the light spectacled rafters.
