Brooke and Joe were married during a brief respite from winter's cold
grasp - honestly, it was one of the nicest weekends we've had in a while.
The sky was a mix of warm sun and cool clouds while layers of snow
blanketed the ground in every direction.
Their timeless and elegant ceremony was the perfect contrast to the rock
infused reception, creating that perfect blend of old and new.
I remember the first time I meet Brooke and Joe – it was about a month
before their wedding and they were in town for the holidays, and to attend to
last minute wedding details. Amber and I
met them and instantly hit it off (anyone that wants to trek around in the woods
taking pictures is aces in our book).
But the thing that will stick with me the most was the way they
interacted with each other – they were like this perfect pair that could tackle
anything; calm and assured in their love for each other.
And on that warm winter day, surrounded by their family and friends,
Brooke and Joe said I do and celebrated like rock-stars in the hometown of
rock-n-roll.
