Jane and Clay were married in an intimate ceremony
surrounded by their family and friends along the sun-filled shores of Lake
Erie. This was a special wedding for me
– I’ve been friends with Jane since nearly the very beginning of her
relationship with Clay and to be there with them as they entered into the next
chapter of their life together was an amazing experience.
Jane has an infectious personality – you honestly can’t help
but like her and she’s definitely easy to talk to. Clay is the calm, steadfast one, and is
genuinely one of the nicest people you could meet. The two of them together is perfect. It is a true testament to how awesome these
two are, that so many would travel so far to celebrate with them on their
wedding day.
As day gave way to night, we made our way out for a few more
photos – the air was cool and the sky glowed a soft warm orange. Out in the distance, sailboats dotted the
horizon, and together, standing side-by-side, Jane and Clay had a few moments
alone – a new husband and wife looking out a future that was as vast and as
open with possibility as that sweeping expanse of water.
