The rough and textural space of the historic Lake Erie Building was the
perfect backdrop for Maggie and Daniel’s wedding. The visage of worn
industry paired perfectly with the soft and delicate nature of the fresh
wildflowers that filled the space.
Everywhere you looked you could see history touching the present. Modern-day artist lofts and studio spaces reside nestled amongst the relics of automotive
assembly while the slow passage of time adds it’s own
romantic touches to the space, blending old with the new.
I think that fairly sums up Maggie and Daniel – a classic mix of modern
meets tradition; they seem to reside at the junction of the past and the
present - the place where dichotomies meet and blend perfectly with each other.
On a mild spring day, with the sunshine spilling through walls of old windows,
Maggie and Daniel said I do: their love adding another chapter to the story of
the old building.
