One of my favorite parts of any wedding day is the very first time a bride and groom have a quiet moment to themselves. No matter when it happens, it’s always a really sweet and magical time filled with smiles and laughter, soft hugs and gentle whispers.
For Heather and Doug this moment came in the cool and quiet shade of a wooded path. We had just finished doing group shots with the bridal party and I stole them away for a little one-on-one time. With their friends and family dispersed, they were able for the first time to just be husband and wife. Watching these two, so madly in love and smiling from ear-to-ear in the shade of a small little forest, was like watching the happy ending to a fairy-tale.
