There is something inherently fun about downtown weddings!
There is an energy in the city that is hard to replicate anywhere else and I
always love photographing the contrast of a couple dressed in their wedding
attire amid the hustle and bustle of the loud urban streets – especially when
they give me free reign to steal them away from their wedding reception to take
advantage of places like E. 4th!
I knew Megan and
Jeremy were going to be an amazing couple to work with when we first did their
engagement session, in the woods, in winter, near a frozen waterfall and Megan
still wore heeled boots and a huge smile.
I think, in many ways, that really sums them up as a couple. No matter what’s in front of them, they’ll
meet it head on and still manage to laugh along the way.
Watching them celebrate their love amid the sophistication and glamor of the iron wrought majesty of Arcade was like watching a scene from a
Hemingway novel unfold. Together, under
a canopy of lights they danced, with the sounds of their laughter echoing long
into the night.
