I’ll never forget his reaction when he saw her for the first
time – she literally took his breath away.
It’s one of my favorite moments of any wedding. The months of planning, the meetings with
vendors, figuring out all the little logistical details and it all comes down
to that one, singular moment; you’re in a room packed with people – your
closest family and friends, and all you see is each other. Everything else ceases to exist for the space
of that one, short walk: its magic.
Marissa and Zach are just the sweetest. I truly adore them. They have this little quirky, fun way about
them – spend any amount of time with them and you’ll see that they were truly
made for each other. Even their wedding was a perfect combination of old-world
tradition and modern little touches that were so Marissa and Zach.
As I was leaving their wedding, I remember walking out into
the setting sun into the relative stillness of the outside world. The sounds of music, dancing and laughter
that filled their reception with such energy faded to a quiet buzz. In that
little moment, I thought of Marissa and Zach and how happy they were. They wore such smiles of joy and happiness. I will always see them that way – young and
wildly in love; full of the promise of their unwritten future together only now
just being realized. Congratulations you
guys on beginning this new chapter of your life together – and may the smiles
you wore upon your wedding day be forever imprinted on your hearts.
